**About the Role**:

- 4 days to Full Time, permanent
- CSS Level 4 $88,850 - $92,865 from pro rate depending on skills and experience
- Based at WA State Office, Burswood

The State Performance Analyst is a valued member of the Western Australian team, who in collaboration with the State Leadership Team and WA Business Analyst will be critical in providing a seamless flow of information throughout services and programs, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.

Critical to the role is strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy. This role will call on you to support the implementation and use of data bases, data collections systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.

**Core duties**:

- Support the establishment of new services, new reporting specifications, outcome-based reporting, and analysis/evaluation
- Support the development of data orientation material and training for new staff, contractors, and partners in line with contractual obligations, compliance and KPI’s
- Provide support to Regional Managers and Service Managers to ensure all data compliance activities are implementation across program area/s.
- Oversee data integrity and production of quarterly and annual activity and outcome reports for all MHSS services for WA Clinical Governance Committee and Annual reporting to Mental Health Commission
- Be the initial point of contact and interface with head office for state-based data and reporting queries
- Escalating and working to resolve areas of data concerns raised by internal and external staff, organisations, and partners through pro-active and reactive data management support
- Working closely with Regional Managers, prepare regular scheduled reporting across areas of responsibility ensuring feedback to relevant stakeholders is provided
- Working collaboratively with IT, R&E, L&D to align reporting and data entry, analysis and evaluation with organisational priorities and consistency
- Conduct information management reviews with partners to ensure adherence to data compliance, quality, and governance
- Administration of user roles to access visual reports e.g. Tableau and PowerBI
- Support contractually related data reporting to external funding bodies including supporting entry of data, exception reporting, data cleaning and analysis of data
- Identify potential areas for reporting improvement to ensure accessible information is available for service improvement and strategic decision making including the use of power BI to drive performance and analytics
- Ensure records management obligations are met, in accordance with Neami National policies and procedures. This includes the retention of hardcopy and/or electronic records and ensuring files are accurate and kept up to date.
- Commitment to understand service consumer data requirements and to collaborate with consumers to gather relevant data.
- Consideration of individual and aggregated consumer data to inform practice and continuous service improvement.
- Participation in Neami National Consumer Data Hub committees and working groups.

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Experience in a similar role within a health / mental health organisation
- Demonstrated experience in data and reporting based planning, implementation, analysis and problem solving
- Strong computer literacy including advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and the establishment of databases, experience using CareLink will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to consumer rights and their active participation in mental health services and an understanding of the quality, safety and compliance issues related to the provision of support services to people with psychosocial disabilities either living in the community or as a consumer of a Neami residential service
- Demonstrates integrity and credibility, and fosters open honest communication
- Demonstrates commitment to the organisation and its values
- Ability and willingness to travel to WA service locations as needed
- Ability to engage a diverse range of people across diverse service area
- Produces new ideas, approaches or insights from a ‘whole of system’ perspective
