We currently have a fantastic permanent, full time opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to work in our Collingwood office. With responsibility for a range of lending and deposit products, this role will require delivery of product and pricing strategy, profitability, governance, growth and efficiency.
The Product Manager is also responsible for managing the Bank’s pricing strategy, market insights and product pricing governance across all portfolios. The role will involve assessing market conditions and making pricing recommendations for Bank Australia to maintain strong growth, manage customer expectations and ensure market competitiveness. The Product Manager will demonstrate their extensive experience in supporting product initiatives and roadmaps, determining appropriate pricing margins and providing stakeholder support.
Reporting to the Head of Product, this role will work alongside experienced Product Portfolio Managers to develop and design values aligned products and manage product performance across product lifecycles. This role will also work closely with Treasury, Finance and Retail teams. The role may also manage smaller product portfolios and relevant internal/external partnerships.
May suit a Product Manager with a strong interest in pricing and financial modelling, or someone with Finance, Risk or Business Analyst experience looking to move into Product Management.

**What you will be doing**
- Assist with the ongoing development of product portfolios and pricing strategy
- Analyse, report and implement strategies and tactics on price competitiveness
- Perform regular data analysis and industry benchmark research to support pricing recommendations
- Manage competitor pricing reviews and trends analysis
- Engage with the business to understand the drivers of trends in margin, pricing exceptions and opportunities to reduce price leakage
- Partner with Product Portfolio Managers for new product launches, promotional pricing and strategic initiatives including go-to-market pricing strategies
- Partner and work closely with the Finance and Treasury teams
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies, trends and key data points
- Support key strategic initiatives by developing business cases and support the ongoing monitoring of the performance of pricing actions
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, enhanced analytics and automation
- Manage product portfolios, initiatives and internal/external relationships as required
- Review, monitor and manage the financial reporting and commerciality of third party arrangements
- Align commercial management of products to regulatory and strategic product changes
