**About the role**

As an **Associate Network Sales Specialist**, your primary purpose to engage with and sell Telstra networking solutions to our customers. The role requires you to form relationships with key business influencers and decision makers within an aligned customer portfolio You will propose, negotiate and sell business-oriented technology and services-based solutions and liaise with internal stakeholders to allow you to achieve against your sales and profit measures.

Your technology domains of expertise should cover (but not be limited to):

- Network carriage and services
- Managed Network Services
- SD-WAN solutions
- Security solutions
- Data Centre connectivity and security, as well as
- An understanding of cloud and data centre technologies

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Achieve sales, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets in assigned portfolio(s) (and other customers, as directed)
- Deliver on assigned quarterly Behaviours and Contributions activities
- Solutions frequently involving high level of decision-making complexity
- Engaging in commercial, business level and technical discussions to support and educate customers on new technologies
- Internal stakeholder interactions to assist in achieving customer and your goals
- Working with multiple technology vendors to provide innovative solutions to customers
- Being a leader within the networking and solutioning business and setting the standard for others to follow
- Enacting and upholding the Telstra brand in all interactions
- Adhering to, and promoting Telstra Values

**About you**

To be successful in the role, you will need to have:
**Essential**
- A strong technical knowledge and understanding of concepts of:

- Telstra Adaptive Networks
- Carriage Networks
- Managed Network Services
- SD-WAN, and
- Security technologies, with
- An understanding of cloud and data centre technologies, plus
- Use this knowledge to build propositions that solve customer business challenges
- Extensive years of experience in face-to-face sales within the IT and/or telecommunications industry
- Excellent collaboration & stakeholder management skills
- You have a natural energy to sell and be compelling, with excellent communication skills
- 3 years experience in sales

**High desirable**
- Existing relationships with Government and/or Enterprise customers are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Communications (or similar)

- We are working flexibly however for this role, the location preference is **Brisbane**.
