We have an opportunity for a forecast & demand planner to join Samsung Electronics Australia. In this role you will own the end-to-end planning and demand forecast management, including but not limited to, aged inventory risk management, out of stock management, and delivery fulfilment.
Role and Responsibilities- Demand Management and input of sell-out / sell-in forecast- Ensure promotion-based forecast is planned and reflected in the system to capitalise on sales opportunities- Ensure that forecast is accurate and is shaped to achieve Sales Target- Manage and monitor sales orders in the SAP Global ERP System- Conduct and manage category SCM meetings to reach forecast consensus
Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in demand forecasting and planning- You have ideally successfully owned a category doing demand forecasting in a D2C environment- You are an analytical individual with a knack for looking at the detail- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based Forecasting/SCM tools- Strong stakeholder management ability
