**About the Assignment**

A great opportunity is now available for an Operator Maintainer located at Fairview. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, cost-effective execution of the integrated schedule and operation/maintenance of assets in the Fairview field and gas plant.

Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to)**:

- Displaying experience and expertise in PLC controls, Variable Speed Drives, motor controls, safety systems, power generators and pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation
- Fault diagnosis and repair of instrument and electrical equipment associated with oil and gas production and processing including control systems, process instrumentation and electrical equipment
- Having a close working relationship and a high level of communication must be maintained with other operations personnel / Build positive relationships for a positive outcome
- Maintaining a close working relationship with the Production controllers and with all land holders throughout our field
- Supervising contractors working on site
- Maintaining a close working relationship with relevant reservoir, facilities, and production engineers to achieve production and maintenance goals
- Maintaining a close working relationship with maintenance planning, production planning and production accounting personnel to achieve production and maintenance goals

**About You**

**To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate**:

- Dual Trade (Instrument and Electrical Technician) Qualification
- Electrical/Instrument Trade Certificate
- High Voltage Training certification
- High Voltage Experience - Overhead line experience favourable
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Similar
- Certificate III/IV Process Plant Technology - PMA40116
