Our client runs a beautiful exceeding rated 39 place centre in Willoughby, catering for children from 0 - 6 years and is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to lead the 0-2 year room of 12 children (2 are 6 months, 1 is 11 months and the others are between 14-18 months) and Educators.

For over 20 years, the approved provider (and ECT herself) has worked hard to create an Early Childhood Educational environment that is warm, supportive, welcoming, caring and fun, incorporating a fabulous school readiness program. The service has achieved exceeding status. Often referred to as a "Patch of Heaven" you will find more support and generosity from this small team environment than you will in any other ELC in Sydney.

Our Centre has a professional approach and operates a dynamic, nurturing, child-oriented and play-based program that adapts as needed to suit the requirements of the children. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality of care and education. We have just three observations to complete each year in our 0-2 rooms and we do this collectively as a group.

In this role, we are looking for someone who has a creative mindset and who has a friendly gentle personality. You will plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate activities for children whilst leading the other two educators.

**Successful applicants must have**:

- Diploma/ Certificate of Early Childhood Education
- Current working with children check and child protection
- Current certificate in Anaphylaxis, First Aid and Asthma management
- Thorough understanding of the EYLF and experience in creating and developing play spaces based on children's interests
- A warm and approachable manner that displays true empathy for children and their development.

**Salary**: $45,955.85 - $71,491.81 per year
