Konomi Kindergarten Willoughby NSW are seeking Bilingual Japanese & English Child Care Group Leaders.

Applicants must have:

- Relevant qualification granted in Australia or Japanese qualification is assessed as equal to Diploma level and Certificate as granted by ACECQA
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in kindergarten and child care services in Japan and Australia
- Knowledge of traditional Japanese events such as Hina matsuri, Koinobori, Tanabata and skill to practice.
- Skills in practising all relevant Japanese aspects of culture including all relevant festivals.
- Experience in planning, organising, and teaching and holding the festivals outside of the service with a large group of (approximately 300-400) adults and children. These festivals include sport, art and music.
- Must be qualified in playing piano.

Other Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience and skill to play other instruments
- Knowledge and experience of Japanese traditions such as holding a tea ceremony activity, flower arrangement, calligraphy, and traditional Japanese dance.

Salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per annum plus superannuation

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
