We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a busy well known business within the Aged Care sector.

Your duties will be but not limited to:
**Payroll processing:
- Overseeing the payroll of ~900 employees in Australia
- Calculate payroll adjustments in accordance with instructions from HR, ensuring consistency between employees
- Manage and track all payments during maternity leave periods, ensuring both paid and unpaid hours are properly recorded and leave accruals are aligned with the relevant state legislation
- Monitor and administer government paid parental leave
- Verify and reconcile Single Touch Payroll data prior to approving transmission to the ATO
- Reconcile and remit superannuation monthly and in a timely manner
- Carry out annual processes impacting payroll including mandatory leave periods, merit increases, incentive payments, and reportable fringe benefits
- Management of 1 direct report
- Experience with Employment hero would be desirable but not compulsory
- Act as a backup for regional payroll hub team members when required

**Reporting & Compliance**
- Processing year end reporting to the ATO, Workcover Authority, Payroll Tax and Auditors and other reports as required by Finance (e.g. A/L & LSL Reports, employee list with start and end dates etc.)
- Prepare, report and pay for Portable LSL schemes ensuring correct calculation inclusions, exclusions as well as claiming reimbursements for LSL paid within the Scheme.
- Creation and management of General ledger payroll interface and manage data accuracy on ongoing basis.
- Dynamic range of tasks

Salary range from $100,000 - $120,000 + Super
