Landscape Gardener

Scapeworks is an owner operated business which has been providing landscaping solutions to clients for 25 years. Specializing in both synthetic and natural turf as well as gravel driveways and paths - we give spaces that final touch. The business operates from a factory in Ferntree Gully and services clients from Melbourne CBD through to the outer Eastern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula. Our work consists of both Mum and Dad’s backyard spaces to commercial sites. After some recent change within the business, Scapeworks are now looking for a fresh face to become part of the close knit team on a full time permanent basis, could also be a sub-contractor. We are looking for someone motivated and eager to work with all things turf and gravel and who is driven to take a step up into a foreman role in the near future.
The Vacancy
As our new Landscaper your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Installing Natural and synthetic turf
- Excavation and digging out soil
- Spreading crushed rock and top soil
- Timber Edging
- Operating various powered hand tools
- Estimating and ordering materials
- Driving work vehicles and machinery (Skid Steer)
What You Need
To be a successful member of our team you’ll need;
- 2-3 years experience in landscaping (will consider final year apprentices)
- White card
- LR Truck Licence and own vehicle
- Willingness to obtain Union membership
- Professional yet friendly communication skills
- To live within proximity of the Eastern suburbs
- To be reliable and driven

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Melbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)
