The Landscape Department is a small Landscape Construction Group, with a team of 6, looking for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice to join our team. The Landscape Department is owned and operated by Mark Vandenboom and Matthew Northey. Both have over 20 years of experience in the landscape garden industry and both are hands on in the running of day to day affairs. Along with Mark and Matt you will be working with several other qualified landscapers, therefore an excellent opportunity exists for you to develop your skills and learn along with other apprentices.

Our work is predominantly in the middle to inner eastern suburbs however we do enjoy taking on projects across Melbourne. Our landscape projects run from the excavation stage all the way to the precise finishing touches so you be able to try your hand at a variety of landscape tasks. It is never boring at The Landscape Department.
- Paving
- Concreting
- Bricklaying
- Timber Decking and feature screens
- Irrigation systems
- Garden Lighting
- Building a plant knowledge base

Above award wages are offered, with incentives and bonuses for the right applicant based on any past experience, and willingness to work well with our team.

Applicants should have a hard working attitude and ideally possess both an imaginative and innovative mind. Landscaping involves a great deal of problem solving and you will be working with the team to overcome commonplace obstacles and create a beautiful garden for our clients.

A current drivers license and reliable vehicle is required for this position. We can accommodate any short term issues on this front. Work hours are from 7am until 3.30pm with options for weekend work available.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $40,660.00 - $55,981.57 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
