Assets and Procurement Administration Officer

We have a great opportunity for an experienced, professional and customer service focussed Administration Officer where you will be responsible for administration relating to asset management and procurement. This will include projects administration, records management and procurement-related activities.
**What will you be doing?**
- Providing administrative support in the preparation of capital and operational expenditure and budgets, and maintenance programs
- Administering relevant policy, procedures and other documentation ensuring it meets regulatory, legislative and statutory obligations
- Operating the organisation’s Facilities Management Information Systems database
- Operating the Asset Help Desk using FMIS
- Maintaining the physical asset register & property register
- Maintaining asset programs and record systems for procurement policies, practices and procedures
- Conducting purchasing activities for the Corporate Support Office and Aged Care Facilities
- Sourcing goods, equipment and services and suppliers, and maintaining online information
- Administering procurement processes including preparation and issue of procurement plans, quotations, requests for proposal, and tenders and coordinate subsequent evaluation and award processes
- Preparation of purchase orders and contracts
- Administration and maintenance of the centralised contract register, preferred supplier agreements, and contractor compliance
- Assisting with contractor induction and training
- Minute and note taking, diary management and document production
- Providing administrative support to the corporate office and facilities (including reception duties) as required
**To be considered for the position you will have**:
- Experience with systems and software, preferably in relation to asset management, procurement, purchasing and contract management
- Well developed administration skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping
- Well developed interpersonal and customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and collaboration
- The ability to work independently, and contribute to a team environment
- Sound written skills and the ability to prepare management reports
- Relevant tertiary qualifications will be well regarded
