First Step Support Services is looking to expand, and we are looking for a very specific person to fill the role available

We are looking for our next superstar support worker to join the team.

We highly value lived experience.

These positions can be built up to your desired hours, and typically takes approximately 4-6 weeks to build to a full time caseload. You would see the same participants, at the same time, every week

**About the Role**
As a Support Worker at First Step Support Services, you’ll play a key role in empowering children, teens, and adults to thrive in their daily lives. The role includes supporting participants with community access, building independence, and achieving their personal goals - whether that’s getting out into the community, developing social confidence, or learning practical life skills. Every day looks a little different, but your impact will always be meaningful.

**You will need**:

- Certificate IV or above in Mental Health, Early Childhood, Disability, or related field
- 12+ months of experience in a related field (preferred)
- WWCC
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- COVID Vaccination
- Current valid drivers license & insurance

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $44.59 per hour

Work Location: In person
