The opportunity
Mott MacDonald is currently seeking to engage two passionate and driven professionals to join the Asset Management team in Melbourne where you’ll get the opportunity to grow and help shape value delivery models to a broad range of clients across both Private and Public sectors. The positions currently available are at Senior and Principal Levels. These roles will support the existing Asset Management team in delivery and execution of current projects as well as support the growth and diversity of the team service offering.
Role responsibilities:

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver asset management services to major projects and asset owners using best practice and international standards.
- Prepare advisory inputs into Asset management strategies, maintenance plans, reports, technical specifications and other supporting documentation and functions.
- Work within client requirements and established industry practices to enable data and evidence driven decision making.
- Facilitate and guide clients at various stages of maturity to enhance their capability in Asset Management
- Collaborate with other disciplines and sectors to achieve efficient and value based outcomes. Disciplines will include but not limited to Energy, Transport, Water, Health and Digital.
- What you’ll bring to the team
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Science or Finance
- 5-10 years of experience, ideally coming from the water, health, energy and/or transport sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop meaningful client relationships with which you are able to convert ideas into projects
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Experience working autonomously and collaboratively within cross functional planning and engineering teams, delivering quality services
- Experience and agility to be across Strategic and Tactical asset management functions
- Developed communication skills and experience engaging with clients and stakeholders to elicit and interpret requirements and manage project delivery.
- Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualise required outcomes for complex issues and convert analysis into practical, quantitative business recommendations.
- Project and resource management skills, preferable with experience with hybrid-Agile methodologies
- Ability to produce high quality reports, presentations and undertake data analysis

Desirable but not mandatory:

- Prior experience in consulting
- ISO 55001 Certified Asset Management Assessor qualifications
- Membership with the Asset Management Council and/or Engineers Australia
