Catering HQ is seeking an Functions Supervisor to take charge of functions and events in this amazing newly renovated function space at Penrith RSL. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our talented and passionate team.

Your primary responsibility is the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
- Work with the team to execute a variety of functions and events for our customers
- Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items
- Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements
- Provide exceptional quality, consistent service throughout the event
- Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management
- Set up and pack down of function spaces
- Lead the team to work efficiently, ensuring perfect execution of the event from set up to pack down

**KEY QUALITIES**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience a similar role
- Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
- Exposure to rostering and people development
- Have a strong customer service focus
- Professional, upbeat and friendly personality
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Highest level of presentation and grooming standards
- Fantastic people management skills and professional nature
- Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
- Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
- Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas
