**About the Location**

The role is based at Cameron Park at the Hunter Area Command Office. The Hunter Area Command provides support to our five District Offices in the key specialist functions of People & Business, Community Risk and Capability.

**About the role**

The role supports the Capability team through being responsive to enquiries, maintaining records and relevant internal systems, adherence to policy in purchasing and inventory, and delivering a high standard of customer service to our customers in order to support our teams to protect the community.

Balancing multiple tasks with competing demands whilst supporting the Capability team’s projects and programs will be a key challenge for this role.
- Provide high levels of customer service to internal and external customers and communicate effectively across all levels
- Possess an understanding of volunteer and community engagement.
- Show initiative, multi-task and prioritise workloads.
- Take initiative and support the team to achieve business goals.
- Show confidence in use of technology in particular Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adapt to changing situations and respond quickly.
