Multiple exciting opportunities have come up for experienced caring and dedicated Residential Care Officers for immediate start. The position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in an NDIS setting. The role requires a mature and enthusiastic work attitude and should have a commitment for long-term employment. As Residential Care Officers, your duties will include:

- Providing support for people with disability living in group housing or government care institution
- Assessing client’s needs and assists in the planning for and accessing support options
- Assessing client’s needs and assists them to plan for and access education and training programs
- Assess the nature and extent of difficulties and report on the progress of clients
- Refer clients to agencies that can provide additional help
- Assess community need and resources for other services
- Liaising with community groups and the general community to promote awareness of the services and resources available at the facility
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
- Reporting any issues or changes in the customer’s health and wellbeing through the appropriate channels and protocols

Essential Criteria
- Relevant associate degree, advanced diploma or diploma
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role
- Current driver’s license
- A NDIS workers screening check or be willing to obtain one
- Passionate about caring and committed to client well being
- Applicants must have excellent communication skills

**Salary**: $54,000 - $64,000 plus Super depending on experience
