**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Payroll Officer on a permanent role to provide support to our busy payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager. The key purpose of this role is to perform end to end processing of payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis.

You will also liaise with key stake holders and find opportunities to identify and develop continuous improvement strategies.

**About the Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and process weekly and fortnightly payroll
- Prepare and reconcile superannuation reporting and processing
- Prepare termination pays, set up new employees and answer all payroll inquiries from employees
- Month End processing
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of personnel files
- Filing and archiving
- Work closely with the People and Payroll team

**About You**:

- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a payroll position using PRONTO (desired not mandatory).
- Ability to interpret EBA's and Modern Awards will be highly regarded
- Ability to deal with pressure and tight time frames whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Customer service and improvement driven
