As a pivotal leader at ABN Group you will lead, develop, and drive the people team to support and meet strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will build on the people approaches that have been successfully embedded and further enhance the Group’s ability to attract, retain and develop. You will lead a dedicated team who cover the end-to-end team member lifecycle and specialist areas.

With a focus on driving capability in Victoria, you and your team will work with leaders and team members to ensure that they recognise the priority and benefits of investing in the development of their people. You will drive the alignment of People initiatives with the Strategic Plan and direction.

With a culture that is fast-paced and authentic and people who “say what they mean and mean what they say”, you will be a practitioner who thrives on leading a team as much from the ‘shop floor’ as from above. You will be prepared to create and implement a strategy and support and mentor your team to learn, develop and think strategically in their roles.

- Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness

You will demonstrate leadership behaviours which are aligned to the Group Values of being open, honest and respectful when dealing with all people. You will hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and may also have a specialist HR or business postgraduate qualification.**Who are we?**
