**About Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA)**

VARA operates out of Perth Airport and has a fleet of F100 and A320 aircraft that predominantly conduct charter operations throughout regional Western Australia. VARA is on a growth path and has a strong focus on supporting our major clients in the mining industry - the future is exciting

**About the role**:
**In addition you will**:

- Ensure the safe and compliant introduction of the E190-E2 in line with CASA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Flight Operations Training Lead to create effective training and assessment materials for safety and emergency procedures.
- Develop, write, and implement policies, procedures, and systems for E190-E2 cabin operations.
- Work closely with the Program Manager and Head of Cabin Crew & Customer Operations to ensure all safety and compliance aspects meet legislative requirements.
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) and Security Management System (SeMS) by identifying and reporting operational hazards
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on projects and business changes impacting E190-E2 policies and processes.
- Develop policies that support the training team in creating regulatory-compliant training programs to assess crew competence.
- Successfully develop compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for introducing a new aircraft type.
- Meet all project milestones and timelines successfully.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**:

- Previous experience and awareness of aviation regulations and legislation ((E.g. CASA, CAA, FAA, DOTARS, IOSA, IATA, DOT etc.)
- Strong analytical skills to gather, understand, and interpret information from multiple sources.
- Previous experience and qualifications in project management, change management, cabin crew or E190.
- Hands-on experience in designing policy and process across the cabin environment.
- Develop and deliver key information across the network to ensure consistent communication and understanding.
- Strong leadership capabilities, both in self-leadership and leading others as you interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and teams.
- Ability to work creatively in a constrained environment where “best practice” and maturity is still evolving.
- Strong ability to remain focused on delivering to the plan but remaining flexible and adaptive to change as required.
