You will play a key role in creating content that empowers retailers to become the best in their area, helping to drive our mission of supporting successful independent businesses. **In this Role** - Assist the IBA Category Manager with promotional planning for our independent brands - Approve promotional content (e.g., catalogues, press ads) for market delivery - Communicate promotional content to state teams and manage feedback - Act as a backup for the National Category Manager during their absence - Liaise with suppliers to confirm promotional plans and activations - Develop retailer communications to support front-line execution - Perform administrative tasks to help meet KPIs and ensure effective tracking and reporting **You’re Likely a Match If** - Previous experience in liquor retail is highly recommended - Understanding of how the Category Manager role interacts with cross-functional departments and suppliers - Strong problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication skills - Ability to deliver tasks and responsibilities on time - Ability to create clear, concise written reports and briefs. - Proven ability to build relationships and network with internal teams and suppliers. - Collaborative, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach **Life at Metcash** Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
