As a Category Coordinator in the FMCG industry, you will play an essential role in supporting the Category manager with administrative duties, scan sales, promotional tracking, EDI ordering and Shipment tracking.

Description

  • Assist in the development and execution of category strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain and update promotional calendars, ensuring accurate slotting and timely communication to stakeholders.
  • Track and reconcile promotional spend and claims, supporting budget management and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage scan sales reports and other category performance data for internal reviews.
  • Provide administrative support for category initiatives, including invoice matching and purchase order processing.
  • Use Excel to maintain trackers, analyze promotional performance, and assist with monthly reporting.
  • Collaborate with Category Manager and Marketing team to ensure smooth execution of promotions and accurate data flow.

Profile

A successful Category Coordinator should have:

  • Previous experience in Category within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong Excel skills for managing trackers and reporting.
  • Experience in promotional tracking and budget reconciliation.
  • Ability to interpret scan sales data and support category insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Previous experience in FMCG or retail environment preferred
