Fitzroy Motorcycles, Scooterama Australia - fast growing Scooter and Motorcycle dealership in Melbourne, with two inner city locations and reputable brands including Honda, Kymco and Lambretta is seeking a Service, Accessory and Parts Advisor for the motorcycle industry.

About you:

- You're reliable and punctual.

- You have a positive 'Can do' attitude
- You have established an excellent track record for driving sales and up selling through your customer service/ retail experience.
- You possess an ability to think on your feet and problem solve issues efficiently and effectively.
- You have hands on experience with motorcycle/ scooter mechanics (not necessarily a qualified motorcycle mechanic)

Service Advisors may perform the following:

- Communicate to customers the mechanics diagnosis of faults in motor vehicles
- Discuss any problems and costs with their customers
- Handle payments for products and service work
- Customer bookings
- Parts interpreting and ordering stock
- Allocating jobs to mechanic
- Oversee mechanics workload to ensure jobs are carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Develop and maintain recording and information systems
- Oversee and controls office and workshop functions
- Liaise with other departments in the organisation
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulation
- May deal with inquiries from outside the organisation, particularly complaints
- Routine Safety checks and general house keeping.

Hours: Job Type: Casual (initially with fixed days) 3 days p/wk incl. 9-4pm Sat

Required licence or certification:

- Drivers Licence (required) and Motorcycle (preferable)
- Full paid trial/training provided at Scooterama
- Only PERMANENT Australian residents eligible to apply. No VISAs.
