**About the role**

This critical role forms part of our robust People Services Employment Relations team. You will be responsible for the provision of accurate and timely human resources advice to managers and staff.

Your day to day will consist of:

- Equipping, empowering and developing our people managers through training, feedback and influence;
- Providing Human Resources advice and support to managers and staff;
- Supporting and advising on people issues including, workforce planning and organisational culture;
- Researching, developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and practices;
- Reporting HR metrics, data, audits, compliance matters, activities and projects to relevant stakeholders.

**About you**

You are a HR Professional with case management and advisory experience, ideally in a large-scale, multi industry organisation. You will have a keen interest and hands-on approach to upskilling managers and staff through HR processes. Through your gained experience, you can navigate people issues in a compassionate and non-biased manner, searching for long term solutions rather than immediate short-term fixes.

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience;
- Minimum three years demonstrated experience in a similar role providing human resources advice and support;
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, policy and procedures to provide clear and concise answers on human resource issues;
- Demonstrated ability to undertake work across a range of specialist or operational areas;
- Experience working in the health, aged care, community services or child protection sectors would be highly regarded;
- Current driver's license;
- National police check or the ability to obtain.
