**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Salary**:$78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
**Time Fraction**:Part time, 0.8 EFT.
**Location**:Moorabbin and Waverley campuses.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

Join the Community and Social Studies department and contribute to delivering high-quality education across the social services spectrum in both VET and higher education.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic educator with a counselling background to join our team. In this role, you will:

- Teach across key areas, including Counselling, Family Violence, Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Housing and Homelessness, Mental Health and Trauma informed care.
- Deliver classes both online in the evenings and on campus during the day.
- Collaborate with other Teachers to develop engaging delivery and assessment tools.
- Tailor teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of students in our specialised educational setting.

Your student-focused approach and commitment to educational excellence will be key to ensuring high-quality learning outcomes.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in teaching vocational and/or higher education, with expertise in developing and implementing training and assessment strategies to meet both student and course requirements
- Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered.
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with team members, promoting a supportive and inclusive work culture.
- An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
