BI Australia is a leading skilled labour hire supplier to the Engineering sector and we have casual roles commencing immediately in Eagle Farm QLD

Role requires demand plan; and engages with the Dispatch Team for execution of client deliveries for a metal manufacturing workshop in pre-fabrication work for concrete structures in civil construction.

**This is a temporary role for approximately 6 months**

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Transport Planing_

Plan to transport capacity. Load sequencing. Utilization for efficiency. Fit for purpose transport. Exceptions - ensuring appropriate transport requirements are available and assigned
- Confirmation planing _

Plan to capacity - tonnes, hours, mix, freight and multi sites. Customer relationship management - including confirmation.. Demand plan - plan level loading, looking at peaks and smoothing out plan. Additions and late requests - assess for capacity.

Complete load planning function within NetworX planning software

Construct daily freight plans within a region at multiple sites

Build loads with clear understanding of KPI - Minimum tonnes per load per truck type, maximise use of fleet with multi-drops

Understand product type and makeup to maximise use of vehicle whilst not creating a burden on Production / Loading Teams.

Ensure freight provider understands daily fleet requirements by cut off time.

Adheres to all relevant company health and safety policies, standards, procedures and legislative requirements

Reports all hazards and incidents, with or without injuries and participate in the investigation if required.

**YOU MUST**:

- Have previous logistics load planing and fleet planing experience
- **Be flexible to work different hours** **(Day and Afternoon shifts)**:

- **Be reliable**:

- **Have own standard welding PPE**:

- **Be able to pass D&A and pre employment medical if required**:

- **Have own transportation**

**Salary**: $39.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplementary Pay:
