**Responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes such as accruals, prepayments, and depreciation calculations.
- Preparing financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- General ledger maintenance, posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Accounts payable tasks including processing invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing support for tax compliance.
- Liasing with other departments, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant working experience in finance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Time management and organisational abilities.
- Demonstrated adaptability and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with BAS & Payroll Tax lodgement and FBT returns is desirable.

Experience with in-house accounting systems is a plus.
