Today, the average pet only reaches 37% of their full potential lifespan and statistics have shown us that many suffer from dental disease, cancer, and obesity. Simply put, the status quo is not enough. Despite medical advancements, they’re getting sicker earlier. They’re dying prematurely. The industry has it backwards — prioritising treating symptoms instead of addressing the root cause. Our mission is to double the average lifespan of dogs and cats by 2050. **The Team** Lyka is growing and looking for an exceptional VP / Head of Strategy to join our Executive Leadership Team and to lead our Strategy and Data & Analytics teams. **What You Will Do**: - Collaborating with the CEO to set Lyka’s vision and long-term strategy, encompassing new products, channels, markets, and operational investments. - Leading the rollout of the Strategic Roadmap process across the organisation, ensuring alignment and execution excellence. - Spearheading the Financial Planning process, including support for fundraising and M&A activities. - Defining goals and targets for key company metrics and managing the governance process to ensure their achievement. - Mentoring and managing the Strategy and Data & Analytics teams, scaling them to meet Lyka's evolving needs. - Developing Lyka’s long-term Data & Analytics vision and overseeing its deployment, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives. - Providing leadership and support for critical business decisions, such as new product launches, market expansions, and strategic partnerships. - Building strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and collaborating on key projects. - Working with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute critical initiatives. - Scaling existing processes and tools, as well as defining new ones, to support Lyka's continued growth. - Upholding and embodying Lyka's values and principles in all workplace interactions and activities. **Requirements**: **Who You Are**: You are a proven leader with a track record of success in strategic roles, ideally including experience in a top-tier management consultancy firm. Your skillset is broad, allowing you to tackle complex problems with ease and contribute meaningfully across various domains, from D2C growth to supply chain optimisation. Your hyper-analytical and detail-oriented nature is complemented by exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. You thrive in collaborative environments, influencing others with humility and eagerness to learn. A "doer" mindset drives you to roll up your sleeves and dive into execution, making things happen.
