**Logistics Operator | Vinpac (McLaren Vale) | Full Time**

**ABOUT US**:
Vinpac was established in 1975 to provide contract bottling services to customers in the Australian wine industry. Today, we operate two facilities located in the iconic Barossa and McLaren Vale wine regions of South Australia.

We offer customers a complete service of packaging material supply and inventory management, bottling, winemaking, bulk wine storage, laboratory services, warehousing and distribution.

**The Role and Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly to the Logistics Team Leader, you will provide support to the Vinpac Warehouse & Production team to ensure all targets are met as well as performing key tasks in the operation of the business including tasks for Despatch Operations, Dry goods, Picking, Loading/Unloading & Receiving. Key responsibilities of this role will include:

- Operation of the Despatch desk
- High level customer service.
- Inbound and receive delivery of all packaging materials and finished products and ensure paperwork matches stock, report anomalies immediately to team leader.
- Promote safety values and implement safety, health and environmental policies and systems to embed safety into the culture and ways of working
- Load and unload correct stock in a safe and timely manner
- Ensuring all COR requirements are followed.
- Correct picking of despatch orders for finished goods and dry goods.
- Safe transportation of dry goods, glass and finished product at all times.
- Issuing and returning of Dry goods for Production Jobs
- Participate in investigation and resolution for NCR/Blocked/QA stock
- Maintain work area in a clean, tidy, and safe state at all times.
- Forklift / equipment maintenance - advise Team Leader of all repairs and servicing required.
- To personally conform to and ensure compliance of others with the Company’s Occupational Health Safety and Welfare Policy and other related Policies/Procedures.
- Assist with training and instruction of co-workers in use of equipment and procedures.
- The desire to promote the company to all external customers / clients / suppliers / general public in a positive way.
- Report all injuries, hazards & incidents to your team leader or manager.

**About You**:
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following qualifications/experience to be considered for the role:
**Essential**
- High level warehouse Despatch and Receiving experience
- Extensive knowledge of Warehouse Operating Systems.
- Must hold a current high-risk licence
- Must have experience on forklift
- Be able to investigate and troubleshoot technical or operational issues
- Able to do occasional shift work and overtime.
