**Your new company**
Local Government Council, Located in The Southern Highlands has a permanent opportunity for an experienced Manager of Business and Property.

**Your new role**
- As part of the Corporate Strategy and Resourcing Division, you will be required to manage commercial aspects of Council’s functions and identify opportunities to generate non rate revenue streams
- to reduce Council’s reliance on rates income.
- Your duties will include but are not limited too:

- Identify non rate revenue income streams.
- Manage a range of commercial business and property management projects.
- Investigate and research information and provide timely advice on complex land issues.
- Foster and maintain cross functional relationships and networks both internally and externally.
- Work according to a allocated timeframes and budgets.
- documentation.
- Foster and maintain partnerships with key tourism and business events at the local, regional and state level.
- Provide a high level of customer service, advice and information to the business and tourism events sector to assist in the growth in this sector

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Business Management or Property with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar
- role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance, feasibility studies and business plans.
- Innovative and facilitative style of management which develops and stimulates a high performing
- Team.
- Foster and maintain cross functional business relationships both internally and externally
- Demonstrated best practice experience in project and contract management.
- High level skills in strategic investigation/analysing and reporting
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
