Sydney- Ancillary Areas- PermanentOur client is a global business with a technology system solutions for derivative risk management within Treasury. This position is based in their Sydney office, working closely with the Sales team to help promote their treasury management products across the Asia-Pacific region. Our client runs a small office in Sydney, and another in Hong Kong, targeting prospective clients across Asia-Pacific.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the sales process through assistance with qualification, objection handling, demonstrations, workshops and requirements gathering
- Provision of on-site and internet-based pre-sales presentation and demonstration assistance to Sales Managers/Directors when working on prospect opportunities
- Prepare and lead pre-sales workshops at prospective client sites, including population and preparation of demonstration databases and scripts
- Assist with completion of RFPs and proposals
- Support the Business Development team in their engagement with current and prospective partners
- Collate and document product enhancements necessary to reflect the unique characteristics of regional market or prospect-specific needs
- Attend industry seminars and conferences to help promote the product
**Experience**:
- 6+ years of experience within corporate treasury, Treasury Markets or derivative sales desk
- Experience with derivatives risk management and/or derivatives accounting
- Experience with Treasury Management, particularly cash management, liquidity planning/forecasting and payment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Practical experience within a treasury function at a large corporation, in a treasury advisory role for a consulting or audit firm, or in a similar pre-sales/consulting role for a treasury management software company
- Understand the sales and consulting process and the role of pre-sales
- Experience across multiple functional areas and asset classes
