**Job Description**:
Our Automotive network delivers a unique and powerful ecosystem that leverages CarsGuide’s editorial leadership, Gumtree’s large and vibrant car buying audience with Autotrader’s sophisticated automotive buying tools for a combined proposition that creates both efficiency and transparency for customers.

Together, Autotrader, CarsGuide and Gumtree aim to become the leading destination for buyers and sellers in the automotive market.

The role
The CarsGuide team comprises three key pillars; Content Management, Editorial and Production. The purpose of this role is to play a key role in supporting, developing and publishing digital content for the editorial team, working with other editorial staff members to publish content effectively and efficiently. Promoting content through various channels daily and general week to week admin tasks.

A day in the life of

Develop expert skills with publishing tools and programs
Publish written and video content according to CarsGuide standards and timeframes
Ensure headlines, captions and imagery are accurate and optimised
Treat embargoed or time-sensitive content with caution
Be mindful of SEO best practices
Optimise the value of each page with in-text links, captions, galleries etc.
Be flexible in adapting to shifting priorities
Proactively contribute to team discussions
Foster effective relationships with the wider CarsGuide team
Intermediate Photoshop and video editing
Participate in returning and collecting of press vehicles
Help out with social media moderation and contribution
Moderate website comments daily

Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-paced organisation
Professional career experience should include exposure to media and communications in the digital space.
Confident in digital publishing and using a editorial CMS
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised and ability to manage multiple competing tasks
Hands-on, pragmatic and ‘can-do’ attitude
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills

**Desirable**: Bachelor's degree in Media or formal training in Photoshop and video editing
