**Position Overview**

We are seeking a Domestic Assistance Disability Support Worker to join our team. We are specifically looking for someone who can provide assistance with cleaning, cooking and general support and home help for a participant living in Dandenong.

Day/Time of the shifts are negotiable, but would require consistent weekly shifts at the same time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to NDIS participant, including assistance in activities like groceries, appointments, laundry and general home cleaning.
- Support participant at home with domestic tasks including meal preperation
- Facilitate social and community engagement activities.
- Implement individual support plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Maintain accurate progress notes.
- Report incidents where necessary
- Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Disability or equivalent qualification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory).
- Working With Children Check (WWC) (mandatory).
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Disability, ASD, ADHD and OCD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.

Pay: $41.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
