Manaia Assist is an NDIS Registered Provider, supporting people with disabilities and mental health needs. **Qualifications & Experience** - Must have a valid First Aid Certificate - Must have a NSW Driver’s License - Must have a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance - Must have a Working with Children Check (WWC) - Must have an NDIS Worker Screening Check - Must have a valid NSW Police Check - Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Completed Infection Control training **Tasks & Responsibilities** - Through a team approach, perform designated duties effectively and reliably. - Promote the dignity, independence, and rights of each customer, working to challenge any negative community values that could infringe on a customer’s quality of life. - Maintain a positive attitude while supporting participants. - Communicate with participants on all levels. - Engage creatively in activities that participants enjoy. - Complete all designated training requirements. - Understand Person-Centered Supports and Strengths-Based Practice. - Be available for at least 3-4 days per week. **Benefits** - We will assist you in completing your Certificate III and IV in Disability. - Ongoing training opportunities. - Supportive team environment. **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual Pay: $34.00 - $36.40 per hour Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week **Benefits**: - Professional development assistance Schedule: - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Morning shift - Night shift - Rotating roster - Shift work Supplementary Pay: - Penalty rates Licence/Certification: - First Aid Certification (preferred) - Driver Licence (required) - Working with Children Check (required) - NDIS Worker Screening Check (required) - National Police Certificate (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred) Willingness to travel: - 100% (preferred) Work Location: In person
