**About Kids' Early Learning**

Here at Council, we own and operate a childcare business, Kids’ Early Learning, with a portfolio of 31 childcare centres and over 40 family day care educators.

Kids’ Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff, and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 2000 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.

**About the opportunity**

We are seeking to fill 4 x OSHC Child Care Aide positions on a permanent, full-time basis.

These roles requires to work 5-days per week requiring to work a split-shift in the AM and PM.

These positions are located in the following:

- Kids' Early Learning Blackett OSHC
- Kids' Early Learning Marsden Park OSHC
- Kids' Early Learning Nirimba Fields OSHC
- Kids' Early Learning Willmot OSHC.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Diploma in Community Services (Children’s Services) or equivalent as specified in the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2018
- Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
- Current certificate HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018.

**Desirable**:

- A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Computer literate
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Availability to work flexible working hours.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,271.21 per week
- 38-hour working week
