**Leading Hand Fitter**

Pit N Portal have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Leading Hand Fitter** to join our talented maintenance team at our **Mount Monger **operations.

The Leading Hand Fitter role at Pit N Portal will provide a genuine opportunity to learn, develop and further progress your career, whilst working alongside experienced, dedicated, and passionate industry professionals in an environment that is collaborative, dynamic and outcome focused. **Key responsibilities include**:

- Manage the day to day of the workshop to ensure all maintenance is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Detailed organisation and planning
- Be visible, and provide true leadership and mentoring to your team
- Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices

**Required skills / experience & attributes**:

- 2+ years’ experience in a leadership position within a mining environment,
- Strong mechanical experience and knowledge working on underground mining equipment (Atlas, CAT & Sandvik)
- High regard and commitment towards safety
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Working Rights within Australia
