A fantastic opportunity has arisen in one of Australia's most iconic businesses. We have an exciting opportunity for a **Treasury Operations Manager**.

This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide exceptional service to the business to help make sound decisions to guide the business through growth and expansion.

Reporting to the Treasury Director, as the Treasury Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
**Treasury Operations**
- Review daily cash position and liquidity analysis prepared by Treasury Analyst and ensure funding allocation meets business needs.
- Manage Short and Medium Term cash flow forecasting and liquidity recommendations.
- Review of Treasury journals and oversight of Treasury month end and reporting including review of general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage Treasury and Banking Systems, ensuring the integrity of data and accuracy of accounting and reporting.
- Management of programs to optimise working capital
- Continuously seeking and recommending process improvements
- Ensure compliance with controls, procedures and policies associated with Treasury operations and FX management.

**FX Management**
- Manage Treasury aspects of commodity risk management including vendor and market FX hedges within group policy.
- Proactively manage FX funding requirements, execution and recording of FX contracts.

**Business Partnering and Relationships**
- Partner with the business and banks to ensure smooth functioning of treasury ops and ensure timely vendor payments and accurate accounting.
- Management of transactional banking relationship.
- Manage and provide coaching to develop Treasury Analyst.

**The ingredients to be successful**:

- Strong accounting skills - Tertiary qualification required, CA/CPA required.
- 7 - 12 years experience in Accounting or Commercial Treasury team environment
- Experience or a keen interest in Treasury Operations, Cashflow forecasting and FX management
- Attention to detail with ability to step back and understand the big picture
- Excellent time management and proactive planning and organisation skills
- Advanced analytical and Excel Skills
- Demonstrated strong people management skills with passion for developing others
- Problem solving skills with a drive for process improvement, adaptable to change
- FMCG experience favoured
- Treasury management systems and Cash flow forecasting system experience favoured
