We’re currently working with a financial services client who are looking to bring on a Content Writer, in this role you will be working within an established team to deliver a major program of work. Initially offered as an 8 month daily-rate contract, this role is based in the Melbourne CBD with a hybrid work model.

**Responsibilities**:

- Editing and writing
- Ensure all messages are tonally consistent, use correct terminology and meet our defined standards.
- Turn complex information into plain language.
- Ensure all digital comms meet the WCAG AA accessibility level.
- Content governance
- Follow defined workflows.
- Steer content through stakeholder approval gates (risk, legal, compliance, etc).
- Follow and contribute to the comms glossary and our writing guide.
- Project management
- Manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Manage your work queue and stakeholder expectations.
- Report on progress.
- Be flexible, innovative and maintain a high standard of work.
- Collaboration
- Partner with several product owners, designers, content strategists, compliance, and marketing teams.
- Contribute and attend key meetings, workshops, and forums.
- Promote and champion the value and impact of content.

**Required Skills & Specialisms**:

- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, writing or journalism.
- 3 + years working as a content writer.
- Advanced knowledge of the English language and BAU comms (essential).
- Experience creating clear, concise, and tonally consistent BAU communications.
- Experience working in the Australian banking or finance industry (essential).
- Experience implementing user-centric communication strategies and plans.
- Experience communicating and building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in an agile environment.
