Content and Communications Writer

What are we looking for?

An exciting & rare opportunity to join our National Marketing team as our inhouse copywriter.

As the **Content and Communications Writer**, your role will have you collaborating with stakeholders across different areas of the business to produce copy and content for a variety of different customer facing materials. Your primary focus will be on all website content, spanning core pages, blogs and campaigns. In addition to this, your role will be integral to preparing relationship building communications and social media posts.

As a strong relationship builder you’ll be able to work closely with the legal teams to understand client perspectives, and then together with the Web team, you will produce engaging “on brand” copy.

You’ll have the ability to translate legal terminology and concepts into clear, engaging web content and also be able to tailor that content for other channels and purposes.

Strong collaboration, influencing and presentation skills will be key to your success in this role.

What will you bring?

It would be fantastic if you had the following prior experience or exposure:

- Tertiary qualifications in journalism, advertising, marketing or communications
- Demonstrated experience in crafting SEO optimised copy
- Exposure to content management systems
- Exposure to social media monitoring and publication platforms

Key skills and competencies:

- Superior writing and strategic content planning
- High attention to detail for editing and proof reading
- Deadline driven
- Ability to simplify complex content to everyday language
- Sound relationship building skills
- Some exposure to video scripting and production
