Analytical / Quality Control Technician

**About Us**:
Cyclowest is Western Australia’s only commercial radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The facility operational hours are 3:00am - 5:00pm. This position is full-time at 38 hours per week, M-F. The roster is shared with other technicians and may change, based on facility operational requirements. Occasional overtime may be required.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or Certificate in a scientific discipline or a related field or 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
**Experience**:
- One or two years of experience in a similar role or relevant technical role, preferably in manufacturing or laboratory setting
- Experience and knowledge of aseptic process (highly regarded)
- Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Perform routine quality control testing on radiopharmaceuticals to ensure products meet specifications
- Use a range of techniques including High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Thin Layer Chromatography, Multi-Channel Analyzer, Gas Chromatography
- Analysing and interpreting data
- Handle inventory and consumables including equipment, materials and reagents including stocktake and ordering.
- Assist with implementing the calibration and maintenance program according to procedures and work instructions
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Test Methods. Maintains compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulatory guidelines.
- Understanding and working under the TGA GMP requirements for sterile pharmaceuticals.
- Complete all documentation and record keeping of activities according to Good Documentation Practice (GDP) approved procedures and processes.
- Conduct facility upkeep through routine monitoring to support the facility’s operations, maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Pro-actively manage occupational health and safety issues to identify, assess and control risks
- Immediately raises any observed GMP breaches or deficiencies with the site, facilities, equipment or environmental conditions with the senior team and the department Manager.
- Participate in change management activities to improve compliance, efficiency and reliability.
- Other related duties that support the core activities and mission of Cyclowest.
