This is an exciting opportunity to establish a career in Finance and join our Brisbane team as a Finance Officer.

We are currently seeking a highly driven Finance Offer to join our team in a **full time** permanet capacity. This role would be ideally suited to a recent Accounting graduate or a bookkeeper with at least 5 years experience. Initial focus on accounts, month end processing and related tasks, you will be provided opportunities to develop across the broader finance discipline.

**About This Role***:
The **Finance Officer**, based in the Australian headquarters in Stafford, provides support to the Finance Director and is responsible for the timely processing and delivery of financial information to other relevant parties as required. Assisting with end of month processes, journal, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable and liaise with third parties in relation to payments and other related issues, resolving issues as they arise. As well as lodgment of BAS, State Payroll Taxes, and analyzing and reporting information.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Accounting degree or high level of accounts experience
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- High level of IT literacy including intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word, along with demonstrated ability to learn other programs quickly
- Previous use of SAP or similar accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-management, organizational and time management skills
- Analysis and problem-solving skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Salary package comprised of base salary and participation in a company bonus scheme, based on achievement in your role.
