Corryong Health is a fully accredited small rural health service located in the far north-eastern corner of Victoria, around 120 kilometres east of Wodonga. Corryong Health provides a range of services including urgent care, acute, residential aged care and home and community-based services.
As the **People & Culture Manager** you will be an integral member of the leadership team. You will support and partner with the Executive team, as the principal advisor on all human resource policies, procedures and systems and how these align and support our Health Service’s strategic goals, vision, purpose and values.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide advice and support to the Executive team on matters of industrial relations and employee matters.
- Coach, develop and support the leadership team capabilities in relation to team and individual employee performance.
- Lead and motivate the organisation to establish a culture of commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Support the small People and Culture team in recruitment and onboarding activities and reporting requirements.
**This is a 0.6, part-time position.**A flexible working arrangement is available, choosing the days that suit your other commitments and the option to work from home, 1 day per week.
**To be successful in the role, you must have**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or extensive equivalent experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to conduct workforce relations processes including but not limited to workplace disputes and performance management processes
- Sound emotional intelligence and proven ability to exercise excellent judgement and strong critical thinking in high pressure situations
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, demonstrated resilience, reliability, flexibility, teamwork values and a strong sense of wellbeing.
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple and demanding deadlines whilst upholding a professional demeanour
- Effective leadership and mentorship abilities
