These two Veterinary Hospitals based in the beautiful Hawksbury region Northwest of Sydney CBD, provide modern, professional and affordable health care for pets. They aim to make the pets feel at ease within their clinics with a caring and gentle approach to treatment and consultations. The dedicated and supportive team are all passionate about animals and their welfare, and work collaboratively together providing a great and nurturing team culture.

What will you do in this (diverse) role?

Managing the day-to-day operations and activities of the clinics including stock management, people management and rosters, and maintaining client records
Leading and developing the teams and building positive team culture
Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and pet owners
Keeping clinic protocols up to date
Organising staff meetings and social events
Addressing any client complaints and reinforcing the bond and high-level customer service they deliver to their clients
Ensuring WH&S safety standards are being adhered to
Assisting the Practice Owner to develop and progress the clinic strategies for the short, medium & long term Who is this (people-first) business?

These two Veterinary Hospitals have been an integral part of the local community for over 30 years. In that time, they have helped thousands of client’s small animals and some exotic animals. Being so strongly integrated with the local community is important to them and their clients. They work closely with the Hawkesbury Animal Shelter, as well as assisting with the local wildlife rescues since 1988 through WIRES.

YOU That is, if you are

An experienced Practice Manager with experience working in the Medical or Allied Health field
A Practice Manager that has NOT worked as a Veterinary Practice Manager before, they really want this role to be Practice Management focused
Someone who loves and is passionate about animals and their care and well being
Someone who has exceptional organisational, communication and customer service skills, who can remain calm under pressure
Someone with strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to provide coaching for team members and to build a positive culture within the team

Generous base of 75k plus superannuation (negotiable)
