Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with high care needs? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated High-Intensity Disability Support Worker to provide exceptional support and care.

**About the Role**
We are looking for a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in Petrie. Shifts are available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight for active awake shifts. Our shift times include 9 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 8 AM.

In this role, you will provide 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 support to our customers, in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes or within the community. You’ll assist individuals with high needs, effectively prioritise tasks, and help create a nurturing environment that promotes independence and personal growth. If you're dedicated to making a positive impact, we would love to have you be part of our team

**Other responsibilities may include**:

- Assist with daily living activities and provide assistance with personal care.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Support community access and engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience providing support for individuals with high needs and complex behaviors
- Experience with PBSP and Restrictive Practice (advantage)

**Requirements**:
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain;
- Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
- CPR and First Aid certificate
- NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
- Working with Children Check (blue card)
- NDIS orientation module certificate
