**About Your New Role**
We are seeking a Disability Support Worker on a casual basis to provide high intensity care and invaluable assistance to our customers in Petrie. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in helping our customers shape and enhance their lives. Your role involves creating opportunities, championing possibilities, and fostering supportive partnerships that empower individuals to unlock their potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a High-Intensity Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our customers, both in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and out in the community. Your daily duties will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

- Manual handling
- Personal care assistance
- Assisting with daily living tasks (e.g., meal preparation)
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of our customers

**About You**
- You will be assisting customers/clients who have a wide range of disabilities
- You will be coordinating and administrating the delivery of dynamic services
- You can prioritize a busy workload, and respond to emergent situations
- Passionate and motivated to make a difference in people's lives
- Flexible availability to a 24/7 roster, including awake night shifts
- You have experience with complex/challenging behaviours (preferred)
- You have awareness in MAYBO (desirable)

**What You Need**:
The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain;
- Current driver's license (p2 or opens)
- COVID 19 vaccinations (x2 doses)
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (yellow card)
- Working with children check (blue card)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
