**Position Information**:
Lethbridge Park Public School is located in Western Sydney and has an enrolment of 472 students comprising of an onsite preschool, 18 mainstream classes and 5 support classes. Lethbridge Park Public School has passionate and enthusiastic staff with a range of early career and experienced teachers who focus on creating student centred learning opportunities enabling all students to positively contribute to the culture of the school. The school has embedded, data informed systems and collaborative processes including the use of spirals of inquiry, data walls and data days that inform explicit, responsive evidenced based teaching and learning programs. A continuous learning culture has been established through the creation and implementation of targeted, high impact professional learning, supportive coaching and mentoring practices and effective QTSS processes. The school is focused on working in collaboration with the whole school community to create an educationally connected school community through a culture of high expectations for all. Lethbridge Park Public School is a Connected Communities School. **Selection Criteria**:

- In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary with the ability to create student centred learning environments, strengthening positive relationships between students, staff and the wider community.
- Knowledge of, and/or experience in using various data sources and recent evidenced-based teaching strategies to implement the new K-2 English syllabus.
- Proven ability to inspire teams to work collaboratively on initiatives and activities to aid the successful implementation of the Strategic Improvement Plan.
- Willingness, and/or demonstrated capacity to strengthen Aboriginal Education programs and to work in partnerships with Aboriginal students and families.

**General Selection Criteria**:

- Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
- Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies.
