CSR is a market leader in the manufacture of building products, providing a broad range of systems and solutions to the residential, commercial and reseller markets. Our network of Gyprock Trade Centres (GTC) service and distribute these products to builders, plasterers, and contractors as well as DIY customers and we are expanding
THE ROLE
CSR have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to provide leadership and support to 6-8 GTC Stores across our Sydney region to maximise business sales and profitability.
This hand-on role will see you managing customer relationships and growing the capability of sales and warehouse professionals to achieve store goals and metrics and spear-heading internal change for business-wide growth.

**Some of your key responsibilities will be**:

- Lead, coach and develop your Store Managers and their teams.
- Support and drive the CSR Retail Excellence Program.
- Drive sales and customer service improvement programs to deliver profitable growth.
- Building and maintaining a positive team culture and strong safety first focus.
- Supporting stores to deliver excellence in customer service, safety, stock management and store presentation.
- Closely manage and control budgets, scorecard management and financial KPI's.
- Developing succession plans to drive team engagement.
- Supporting Store Managers and Franchise owners with financial performance and budgets.
- Ensuring store compliance through audits and staff training.

THE PERSON
This is a fantastic opportunity to steer your career into a much larger role within CSR we are ideally looking for someone who is a self-motivated leader who has a passion for people and with a contemplative nature, not just an active executor. You will either need to be currently managing an existing store looking to take the next step or have recent experience in a similar position. Being exposed to a warehouse environment is a plus. Above all else, an in depth understanding of how to create excellent customer experience and sales will see you excel in this role
