We are currently assisting our client in their search for a new Territory Manager -NSW region. Our client is a stable, well established and national manufacturer of products supplied to the retail, wholesale and retail manufacturing sectors. They have an excellent reputation in both Australian and New Zealand with innovative and quality products for their customers.

They have an excellent track record of low staff turnover, as they support their teams and promote from within. they are offering a competitive salary + company vehicle.

**The role**
As Territory Manager your role will be to nurture existing client relationships and develop new prospects.

Duties include:

- Strategic planning and visit existing clients - from Ballina to Canberra
- Arrange your appointments and call cycles - grow sales revenue.
- Develop long term sustainable relationships
- Identify & drive new business opportunities
- Work closely with the new product team regarding new and innovative products for the industry in line with customer feedback
- Securing and managing a portfolio of clients that will ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Reporting on the market conditions / trends and competitor activity

**Applicant**
**requirements**:
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of managing a large territory. You will need to be:

- Commercially astute
- Excellent at managing client relationships
- Someone used to regular travel as part of their job
- time management and organisation skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- The ability to implement strategy and continuous improvement projects whilst maintaining effective management of the existing operation
- Experience managing a budget and delivering cost savings targets as directed by the business
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to communicate well with peers, consultants and customers
- Previous experience in window furnishings would be advantageous but not essential
