The Business

We have an opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our Retirement Living business providing support across the Eastern Region (QLD,NSW,ACT). Our vision is to create the best places not just for our clients and communities, but especially for our employees. With 75 villages, currently under management, we are Australasia's largest owner, operator, and developer of retirement villages.

The Role

This is a permanent part-time role. This role's purpose is to provide technical support and outstanding customer service to all Retirement Living villages, capex and refurbishment projects including the supply chain, local community and other stakeholders.

The EHS Advisor will consistently deliver on our aspiration to be Incident & Injury Free and provide a positive impact on the environment wherever we have a presence. Reporting to the Regional EHS Manager the EHS Advisor, will be responsible for driving a unified and proactive culture throughout the operations, including the supply chain and stakeholders. Accountable for the ongoing implementation of EHS systems processes, goals and key performance indicators and monitoring compliance across all assets through the assurance program.

- Be recognised for the consistent demonstration of Trusted Advisor in all their contact points with the business inspiring a proactive, collaborative and learning culture within the business.- Promote a positive team environment and a collaborative risk management approach to problem-solving- Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders- Ability to influence and drive change at the frontline- Ability to work in "a hands' on" management role requiring engagement at an operational level.- Work to the highest ethical standards and in line with Lend Lease Core Values, showing integrity, credibility and respect.- Must have EHS experience in a similar role as a co-ordinator, advisor, consultant- Must have a Diploma qualifications in Environment, Health & Safety Management (or related field) or working towards a diploma.- Understanding of the management of ISO 14001 & 18001 compliant management systems
