**What can you expect?**
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Mercer Marsh Benefits team and provide professional consulting, placement, and strategic account planning to clients on all of their group insurance arrangements including implementation and ongoing maintenance. Further, the successful applicate will engage in strategic conversations with clients on their overall employee benefits offering with the view to identify potential growth opportunities.

**We will count on you to**:
- Provide insurance consulting advice to corporate clients with regards to their group Life & TPD and salary continuance programs
- Prepare recommendations and appropriate reports and deliver advice to clients via face-to-face discussions where appropriate
- Develop strategic account planning with a range of different clients to strengthen relationships and open up opportunities for growth
- Manage, conduct and evaluate open market tenders for group life/TPD and salary continuance insurance
- Participate in the placement of New and Existing business by liaising with the Placement Team before, during, and after the process
- Assist in the development and execution of new business opportunities within your current portfolio
- Provide coaching and guidance to the broader team on regular basis.
**What you need to have**:
- Extensive experience in group insurance and/or superannuation with an insurance company, consultant, or broker
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy
- Superior analytical skills
- Experience of supervising a team with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor more junior level staff
- RG 146 qualifications in risk management and superannuation (or prepared to obtain within 6 months’ of starting) - Tier 1 compliant.

**Salary**: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
