**The Company**

Due to continued success across Australia and New Zealand, this trusted European manufacturer is seeking an experienced, Canberra based Field Service Technician or Engineer to provide technical expertise, on-site and remote engineering support for their Clients who purchase and install their comprehensive range of AC drives throughout their sites.

This business traditionally sells their extensive range or Drives into industries including mining, resources, heavy industry, manufacturing and FMCG and stand toe to toe with the tier one OEM's.

**The Position**

Reporting to the National Manager, this position best suits an experienced Industrial Electrician who has had significant experience installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining AC Drives ideally in mining, resources, heavy industry, manufacturing or FMCG.

This role is predominantly a workshop based role and offers the opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician or Engineer to still be a part of large projects and industry with the added bonus of being home the majority of the time.

**To be successful in the role you must have:

- An Electrical Trade Qualification (mandatory)
- Previous experience installing, commissioning and maintaining Drives and other electrical assets
- Experience troubleshooting, fault-finding and repairing AC Drives or Drive components
- Thorough understanding of electrical principles as part of FAT, Staging or Pre-dispatch testing
- The ability to offer technical expertise and engineering support to size Drives for our Customers
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to interact with Clients in a consultative manner
- Willingness to take on site works which will be away from home periodically
